A Norwegian newspaper is accusing music streaming service Tidal of faking steaming numbers. They claim that Tidal manipulated listener data for both Kanye and Beyoncé. Specifically, on their newer albums, “The Life of Pablo” and “Lemonade.” Tidal had exclusive streaming rights to both these albums when they launched. The company is denying these allegations but investigating the possible data breach.
