You want to start zucchini and squash indoors about 4 weeks before the earth and night temperatures are generally in the 60s. The grow best in warm weather. They germinate well and I recommend planting 1 see per large seed cell. You dont need more than 2 or 3 plants for a family. These plants can get quite large if given plenty of water and compost.\r
