These two adorable pugs drew admiring crowds when they were seen waiting patiently outside a shopping mall for their owner to return.

The pair of pet pooches - decked out in doggy clothes and mini rucksacks - were laying on their bellies outside the Central Festival mall in Bangkok last Sunday (May 13) afternoon.

Onlooker Geavarinte Ammattayanu said the well-groomed pugs were sitting obediently waiting for their owner to return.

He said: ''They weren't my dogs. I just saw them sitting like that for ages so I filmed them.

''Lots of people were saying how cute they were. I think they're very good, smart dogs to sit calmly and wait for their mummy or daddy to come back.''
