문 대통령, '여성들의 삶을 보듬는 것에서 진실의 역사 다시 시작'

President Moon Jae-in promised to launch a group to find the truth behind the repression of the May 18th Democratic Movement... and vowed to guarantee women's rights.
The President, through his Facebook account on Friday, expressed deep regret at the then-government's brutal repression, and a sexual assault of a female high school student by the military, during the May 18th Democracy Movement in Gwangju.
Moon vowed to "restart true history by embracing women's rights"... by forming a joint investigation group with the defense ministry, gender equality ministry, and National Human Rights Commission, to find the truth behind the events of May 1980 and restore the dignity of the victims.
