Washington resident Denise Nef Frehner captured video of a cliff collapsing into the Kettle River, a Columbia River tributary, in Ferry County on May 13.
The Columbia River tributary, which is located southeast of British Columbia, has received near record flooding from snow melting into rivers along the US-Canada border due to recent high temperatures, according to reports. At least eight rivers in Ferry County are at, or above, flooding stage and water levels are expected to continue to rise as the week progresses.
