Good morning. What a change in terms of weather in just one day, we will have rain and much lower temperatures along with some good air on this Wednesday.

Yesterday, many regions had the hottest temperatures of the season. Daegu and the Gyeongsang-do regions saw the mercury nearing 33 degrees and heat lingered through the night and even into this morning. But along with showers we'll have readings returning to what we would normally have around this time of the year.

Rain clouds moved in after midnight and dropped heavy rain on North Korea first and gradually spread to the South. Upper regions are forecast to see heavier showers.

The capital area will see heavy rain, picking up in the evening while southern regions will see the rain taking a break in the afternoon. This band of showers will linger until Friday.

Daily lows have jumped to the twenties in many parts, Seoul and Daegu at 20 degrees. The rain has washed away lingering dust in the air.

As for the highs, Seoul and Chuncheon will get up to 23 degrees with showers while Jeju won't see any rain today, but will see the sun.
