Dozens of fissures have opened on Hawaii's Big Island over the last eleven days.
Since the Kilauea Volcano began to erupting on May 3rd, molten lava has continued to spew out of the fissures around the Lower Puna area.
At least 2,000 residents have been evacuated from the Leilani Estates near the base of Kilauea.
The prolonged volcanic activity has the US Geological Survey concerned that the volcano is building up to an explosion.
