Passengers at Washington Dulles International Airport were advised to take shelter on the evening of Monday, May 14, after the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a warning of a possible tornado in the area.

NWS DC/Baltimore warned via Twitter damaging winds and hail were possible across Fairfax County.
