An SUV crashes into scooter riders waiting at a red light at a busy intersection in southern China.

The dramatic CCTV video, captured in Chengdu City in Sichuan Province on May 13, shows an SUV doing erratic doughnuts around a policeman in the middle of a busy road before crashing into a dozen scooter riders waiting for a red light at an intersection.

Police officers arrest the driver after the SUV bumps into another car and comes to a halt.

Three people were injured and three vehicles were damaged, reports said.

The cause was being investigated.
