When you put a Ferrari 458 Speciale up against the less powerful Ferrari 458 Spider, you'd expect the former to come out in front but this just shows how much other factors play a part including the timing of the launch, the tarmac quality, the tyres, and the luck that goes with it all. After both cars lift off the 458 Spider is out in front and it stays that way with the Speciale very closely gaining down the strip.
