President Trump thanked North Korea on Twitter over the nuclear site shut down announcement.

President Trump took to Twitter and thanked North Korea after the country announced on Saturday that it'd dismantle its nuclear test site by the end of May.
"North Korea has announced that they will dismantle Nuclear Test Site this month, ahead of the big Summit Meeting on June 12th. Thank you, a very smart and gracious gesture!" Trump tweeted.
North Korea said it's planning to mark the closure of the site by holding an event that will be open to some members of the international press.
The ceremony commemorating the shut down will reportedly be held around May 23 to 25, with reporters from the U.S., the U.K., South Korea, China, and Russia invited to attend.
According to Fox News, the regime made the announcement through its state run media Saturday, stating, "The Nuclear Weapon Institute and other concerned institutions are taking technical measures for dismantling the northern nuclear test ground of the DPRK in order to ensure transparency of discontinuance of the nuclear test."
This comes weeks prior to Trump's planned meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in June.
"The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th. We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!" Trump tweeted on Thursday.
