Data from the Bank of Korea and Statistics Korea on Saturday shows production was down twelve-and-a-half percent on-year in March.
Related figures have been on the steady decline since the end of last year.
In terms of exports,... they were eight-point-six percent lower on-year in April.
The popularity of imported cars has also eaten into Korean automakers' domestic sales.
Sales were down zero-point-nine percent in March,... while imported car sales soared by more than 23 percent in the same month.
