Netflix bought the worldwide rights to the animated film “Next Gen” for $30 million.
The animated feature is directed by Kevin R. Adams and Joe Ksander.
The film stars the voices of Jason Sudeikis, David Cross, Michael Peña and Constance Wu.
“Next Gen” tells the story of two unlikely friends in a robot-filled world.
It is one of the biggest deals to come out of the Cannes Film Festival so far.
