Karnataka Assembly elections began in 222 out of 224 constituencies in Karnataka on Saturday. Out of 224 seats, 172 are general, 36 reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and 15 for Scheduled Tribes (ST). People in Karnataka will vote for three major parties, Congress, BJP and JD (S) in the elections.
