A cold snap in southeastern Australia brought heavy snowfalls to Hotham Heights overnight, resulting in a thick blanket of powder across the region on Friday, May 11.
A video, livestreamed by the Hotham Alpine Resort Facebook page at 6 pm on Thursday night, showed heavy flurries of snow blanketing a vehicle as it tries to make its way through the thick sleet.
