South Korea's finance minister says international cooperation is key to start possible inter-Korean projects

South Korea's finance minister has admitted that future inter-Korean economic projects... will require cooperation with the international community.
Speaking in a local radio interview this morning, Kim Dong-yeon said the Seoul is carrying out internal preparations to organize and implement possible economic projects with the North... and is watching the upcoming summit between Pyongyang and Washington.
With regards to financing, he said North Korea will have to join the IMF, which is required by organizations like the World Bank and the Asia Development Bank as a condition for getting development funds.
He added that the process of joining the IMF would take about three years... because the organization needs to anlayze economic data and statistics.
