Here is the recipe:\r
4-5 pounds chuck roast \r
2 tablespoons canola oil \r
1 teaspoon Kosher salt \r
1 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper \r
1 cup beef broth \r
1 can can condensed French onion soup 10.5 ounces \r
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce \r
1/2 cup beer \r
1 inch yellow onion sliced into 1/4 slices \r
8 ounces crimini mushrooms sliced \r
1 inch green bell pepper sliced into 1/4 slices \r
6 hoagie rolls \r
2 tablespoons butter \r
Provolone Cheese\r
--Season the chuck roast with the Kosher salt and pepper\r

--Heat your pan with oil and brown your meat. Or brown in the slow cooker if it allows for that. \r
\r
--In your slow cooker add the beef, the beef broth, the french onion soup, Worcestershire sauce, and the beer. \r
\r
--Cook on low for 8 hours.\r
\r
--Add in the onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper in the last hour of cooking.\r
\r
--To serve, toast your hoagie rolls with a bit of butter spread onto the cut sides.\r
\r
--With a very sharp knife cut your beef against the grain.\r
\r
--Add you cheese of choice, some of the meat and top with the cooked veggies. Drizzle some of the broth if youd like or even serve with ramakin of broth as a french dip sandwich. \r
