United Launch Alliance have successfully launched NASA's InSight Mars Lander mission on an Atlas V 401 vehicle. Liftoff took place at 11:05 UTC, May 5th 2018 from Vandenberg Air Force Base SLC-3E. The lander will touch down on the red planet on November 26th 2018. This was the first Mars mission to launch from the west coast.
