A 26-storey building collapsed after a massive fire ripped through it in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Aftermath footage captured today (May 1) shows firefighters working on site amid a huge mountain of debris.

Official figures have not yet been revealed and according to local media only one person was reported missing.

The fire started on the fifth floor and spread to the dwellings nearby.

50 families were living in the building at the time of the incident and around 160 firefighters went to the scene.
