Ginny Buckley compares three of the hottest hatchbacks on the market - the Volkswagen Golf GTi, the Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport and the Peugeot 306 Rallye, to find out which one is the ultimate winner. She starts off with the original hot-hatch - the Golf GTi, which comes with a 1.8 litre Turbo engine, producing 150bhp, giving it a top speed of 135mph and a 0-60 time of 8.5 seconds. Next up is the Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport, which has a 2.0 litre 16-valve engine, producing 150bhp, with a top speed of 134mph and a 0-60 time of 8.5 seconds. Last, but not least, is the Peugeot 306 Rallye, which has the best performance of the lot, with it's engine producing 167bhp, a top speed of 137mph and a 0-60 time of 7.3 seconds.
