Anti-government demonstrations continued in Armenia on April 29 ahead of the planned parliamentary vote to elect an interim prime minister, Radio Free Europe reported.

The protests took place hours after opposition parties agreed to support protest leader Nikol Pashinian in the vote scheduled for May 1.

Pashinian told protesters on April 29 to continue peaceful protests, and then to hold their biggest rally yet on the eve of the parliamentary vote, Radio Free Europe reported. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty via Storyful
