Forbes takes into consideration the total earnings a star makes, from his films and his endorsements, and ranks the highest paid actors in this way every year. This year, Shah Rukh surpasses Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Amitabh Bachchan, some of Bollywood’s highest paid, to secure his spot, followed closely by Akshay Kumar at number 10, Salman Khan at 14, and Amitabh Bachchan at 18.

Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, was announced to be among the top 10 highest paid actresses in the world this year by Forbes, sharing the limelight with SRK! Seems like we’re indeed catching up to Hollywood big time!
