Israeli forces blocked the front gate of a West Bank university on April 26 and used tear gas to disperse students and teachers gathered outside, according to local reports.
This footage is described as showing soldiers blocking the main entrance to the Palestine Technical University in Al-Aroub.
WAFA News Agency said the entrance was closed following an order from the Israeli army commander in the south of West Bank. It was not immediately reported why the decision was made but Quds Press reported that Israeli forces told students and faculty to use other entrances.
Palestine’s Ministry of Education condemned the move, Al Hadath reported, saying it was represented the illegal targeting of Palestinian education.
