President Trump on Wednesday tweeted a "thank you" to Kanye West for his recent supportive words.  Trump wrote, "Thank you Kanye, very cool!" and shared one of West's many messages about him. 
"You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother," West tweeted. "I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought."  Trump and West met during the transition, but White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters on Wednesday afternoon that, to her knowledge, they haven't gotten together or talked since then. She did note, "I'll keep you posted if that changes."
