7 parties including Congress have offered impeachment to remove Chief Justice Deepak Mishra from his post. In this resolution handed over to Vice President Wenkeia Naidu, the opposition has made five charges against the Chief Justice. The big thing on this is that this process will take more than 6 months. And by then Chief Justice, i.e. retired on October 2

कांग्रेस सहित 7 पार्टियों ने चीफ जस्टिस दीपक मिश्रा को उनके पद से हटाने के लिए महाभियोग का प्रस्‍ताव दिया है. उप राष्‍ट्रपति वैंकेया नायडू को सौंपे गए इस प्रस्‍ताव में विपक्ष ने प्रधान न्‍यायाधीश पर पांच आरोप लगाए हैं । इस पर बड़ी बात यह भी है कि इस प्रक्रिया में 6 महीने से अधिक समय लगेंगे. और तब तक चीफ जस्टिस यानि कि २ अक्टूबर को रिटायर हो चुके होंगे.
