Chris Gayle became the first centurion of IPL 2018 on April 19 when he blasted an unbeaten 104 including 11 sixes. The big-hitting West Indian had gone unsold in two rounds of auction this year before being picked up by Kings XI Punjab at base price. Gayle's innings propelled Punjab to 193 for 3 and eventually a 15-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
