New Delhi, Apr 17 (EFE), (Camera: Javier Martinez).- As a protest against the latest cases of child rape, Indian activist Swati Maliwal’s open-ended hunger strike reached its fifth day on Tuesday, as she demands more severe punishments for offenders, including the death penalty.
Maliwal, who is head of Indian capital’s Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), started fasting on Friday, after two more cases of child abuse shook the South Asian country.
