CCTV footage captured the moment a rat ran around in a Chinese restaurant, scaring the customers.

The clip, shot in Shenzhen City in southern Guangdong Province on April 3, shows customers that are dining in a restaurant suddenly moving away from their seats as a rat climbs up along a wooden pillar and jumps into the hot-pot on the table before running away.

Since the restaurant only agreed to change another pot for the customers, they paid the bill in full and left.

Later the customers reported it to the market supervision department and they found that several aspects of the restaurant were not qualified.

Finally, the customers got a full refund of their payment.
