Tropical Cyclone Keni put the town of Ba, Fiji, under water again on April 10, just nine days after at least six people died in flooding caused by Cyclone Josie.
The storm hit the island nation on Tuesday, impacting many areas still recovering from the damage caused Cyclone Josie earlier in the month. Videos taken by Naziah Ali show roads and bridges around Ba submerged and made inaccessible by floodwaters, as well as residents taking refuge atop their homes.
Newshub reported that more than 3,600 people had taken shelter in evacuation centres and that regions lashed nine days earlier were the most vulnerable to the destructive flooding. Credit: Naziah Ali via Storyful
