President Trump says his approval rating is higher than what polls show.
President Trump recently got positive news on the polling front when a conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports poll showed he has 51% approval rating.
Trump, however, claimed in an interview with 'Bernie & Sid' on 77 WABC Radio New York that his actual approval numbers are even higher.
"They say that it's 51 but add another 7 or 8 points to it. That's so much embarrassing for me to tell you because they don't want to talk about it," Trump said. "But when they get into the booth, they want to vote for Trump. People know what's going on."
A recent CNN poll also indicated an uptick in Trump's approval rating, climbing to a level not seen since the 100-day mark in his presidency.
On the other hand, according to data gathered through Morning Consult's 50 state approval tracker, Trump's approval rating is at a new low
The president's average for March came in at 41%. That number was calculated using survey results gathered between March 1 and March 31. In all, 97,693 registered voters from all 50 states and Washington, D.C. participated.
