Today I present 3 simple methods you can use to stop hostile mobs from spawning in your world, or on your server.\r
\r
ERRATA: Oak Log generates in 1.8, but not in 1.11, so only works if you have a 1.8 world, like I do. It must have been removed at some point. Sorry to whoever had a hope for this.\r
\r
DISCLAIMER: There is a chance that mobs can spawn only once, when you open a single-player world, or when logging in to a server with nobody on it (server was in a sleeping state), but they shouldnt be spawning at all since then (hoppers need to catch up). If your server has a multi-village iron farm, you should not see hostile mob spawns at all, since your server is not sleeping at all.\r
Also the server has to have auto-saving on, which is default. If it isnt, you need to stop it once in the nether to unload unused chunks.\r
