Dalit women stopped from entering temple in Kanpur. A Dalit woman alleged that she was denied entering a temple and performing puja inside the premises by the temple priest. She said that her offerings were thrown away and was insulted before she entered to perform puja. She also blamed the Government for the poor condition that women have to face. According to the police a case has been registered in this regard and investigation is underway.
