South Korea's first F-35A stealth fighter jet has made its official debut at a sensitive time for diplomacy with North Korea.
Vice Defense Minister Suh Choo-suk led Seoul's delegation on Wednesday at a joint rollout ceremony for the jet at Lockheed Martin's assembly line in Fort Worth, Texas.
The jet is the first of 40 F-35As South Korea agreed to buy under a 2014 deal.
It's also the nation's first warplane with the capability of evading radar detection.
All 40 will be deployed to South Korea by 2021.
