A newly bought car rolled back and forth across a busy road several times, narrowly avoiding colliding with passing vehicles.
The incident occurred at Ramanattukara in Kerala, India, on March 25.
A CCTV footage shows the newly purchased vehicle parked on a steep slope inside a home.
Due to incorrectly secured handbrake, it starts rolling down and crosses a busy road, which has traffic plying from either side.
You can see buses, cars and scooters missing the car narrowly.
The car reaches the other end of the road and starts its return journey, this time aided by the higher ground on the other side, slant in the road and gravity.
The unmanned car gains momentum as it approaches its home and even attempts to climb the original gradient. Then it goes back to the road only to come back again.
The car makes three back and forth trips across the road, averting collisions with several vehicles narrowly.
A few pedestrians finally take note of the heart-stopping incident. One of them gets into the car to pull the handbrake, while another alerts the owners inside the house.
