Omkar Rege is a Goan who has spent the last seven years in Pune. He has learnt enough Marathi to sound like an outsider in Pune and has forgotten enough Konkani to sound like an outsider back where he comes from. His comedy, therefore, is rooted in the discrepancies of language. He derives most of his humour from situations in his life and the circumstances around him, making nuanced observations about the mundane things that people tend to miss out on. He is a fan of sports, an incorrigible cinephile, hates pigeons and loves the window seat.
