Ive finished another Ever After High dorm room (diorama)! This time, its for Blondie Lockes and CA Cupid, and its my 5th Ever After High dorm room video.\r
\r
Many people ask me about where I get my supplies for these EAH dorm rooms, so I have listed all my sources and steps below.\r
\r
1. The shelf is a Large Open Cube from Hayneedle.com in white finish. \r
2. Before I get started, I go to ColourLovers.com to make palettes for each doll so I can make sure that the items I choose dont clash. I may make a video about how I do this in the future, if theres enough interest.\r
3. Cupids flooring and walls came from a Premium Paper Collection at Joann Fabrics & Crafts. \r
4. Blondies floor came from Joann Fabrics, but her walls are a custom wallpaper from Spoonflower.com.\r
5. Both dolls have windows created from window frames (Hobby Lobby) and cutouts from Ever After High doll boxes.\r
6. Blondies curtain rods are keys from a laser cut key assortment, while Cupids is a simple craft popsicle stick.\r
7. Blondies curtains are blue velour fabric from Joann Fabrics, while Cupids curtains were cut from a Paris-themed bandanna from Hobby Lobby. \r
8. Blondies teddy bear collection is from Hobby Lobby, and to showcase them, I used blocks with holes and craft popsicle sticks to create displays for them.\r
9. To fill out Blondies walls, I cut out pictures of Briar Beauty and Apple White from more Ever After High doll boxes, glued them to rectangular wood pieces that I painted blue, and hot-glued those to her wall as well.\r
10. Blondies loveseat comes from Amazon.com (think it shipped here all the way from Thailand - I liked it because I didnt have to make it and it didnt break Blondies color palette.\r
11. To finish up Blondies side of the room, I made a rug for her out of craft fur (I cut it into a teddy bears head shape).\r
12. As for Cupids walls, I found heart-shaped wall vanity mirrors at Hobby Lobby that are perfect for her theme.\r
13. Cupids furniture consists of a wardrobe and an ottoman that I found on eBay.they just happened to be consistent with her color palette.\r
14. I made a rug for Cupid out of pink burlap and black laser cut paper.\r
15. I also found a Love wood shape that I painted pink and gold that I threw in for added detail.\r
16. Since no CA Cupid room is complete without a picture of Dexter Charming, I cut out a picture of him from the Date Night box with Raven Queen and glued it to a heart-shaped piece of wood.\r
\r
And thats basically it! I hope you enjoyed this video as well as the little skit at the beginning.please let me know what you think in the comments below!
