ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠ ಎಚ್ ಡಿ ದೇವೇಗೌಡ ಅವರು 84ರ ಹರೆಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಸರಳ ಜೀವನ, ಮಿತ ಆಹಾರ, ದೈನಂದಿನ ಯೋಗಾಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಇದೀಗ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಾಗಿ ದೇವೇಗೌಡ್ರು ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮುಗಿಯುವವರೆಗೆ ಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ
