The conclusion to the PEN vs THL semi final. After a very hard fought match, it goes down to penalties to decide the winner.
PEN take the win 5 to 4.
It was a really enjoyable match to watch (even if the result went against us) and it was great to see Thorns really compete with a team which has been dominant over us for several seasons. The Thornleigh faithful really made for a great atmosphere on the sideline and the game was played in great spirit.
Im looking forward to the next encounter between these two teams in '09.
