The JNU protest march from the university to the parliament complex turned violent after clashes between the cops and the students and teachers who were participating in the march. A photojournalist from Hindustan times who was covering the protest march from the JNU protest march was beaten up by the policewomen and her camera was also confiscated. The video of the assault has since gone viral.
