Series co-creator Dan Harmon has explained the reason for season 4’s delay.
The 3rd season of the show was huge in ratings and cultural impact.
Harmon admitted recently that he and co-creator Justin Roiland are bogged down in contract negotiations with Turner Broadcasting, the parent company of Adult Swim:
“The reason we’re not working on Rick and Morty right now ain’t because I figured out that I don’t need to impress you.
