Visibility in Thessaloniki on mainland Greece was reduced slightly as a major Saharan dust storm swept through the Mediterranean.
Video shows a light haze over the coast in Greece's second city.
But further south in Crete, the dust storm reportedly had a much wider impact.
Visibility at Heraklion airport was reduced to just 600 metres as the storm arrived around 16:00 local time.
On the western part of the island, the storm mixed with smoke from wildfires and exacerbated the problem.
The storm is mostly dust and sand from North Africa that blows north into Greece and Turkey.
