An elderly man living in a building's basement in Bucharest, Romania was discovered to be sheltering 191 pigeons. The man had started gathering and caring for injured pigeons he would come across. Over time, those birds began to multiply, causing serious health risks to the man and the pigeons. Rescuers from Visulluanei convinced the man to let them release the healthy pigeons and take the rest in for more intensive care.
