Melissa Joan Hart to Star in 'Clarissa Explains It All' Reboot According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nickelodeon is dicussing the possibility of reviving the show. Hart starred as the titular character during the show's original run from 1991-1994. Mitchell Kreigman, the series' creator, is also in talks to return for the show. This is the second show this month that Nickelodeon has discussed rebooting, ordering a 20-episode revival of Blue's Clues last week. Nickelodeon declined to comment to The Hollywood Reporter as the contracts have yet to be finalized.
