BMW has given a teaser into what its new flagship 8 series lineup might look like by unveiling a concept of the high-performance variant - the M8.
The aggressive-looking four-door model is on display at the Geneva Motor Show and has been given the official name of Concept M8 Gran Coupe.
The German carmaker is reviving its 8 series luxury lineup to compete with the likes of the Aston Martin DB11, Bentley Continental GT, and the new Mercedes-AMG GT four-door coupe.
The new M8 is likely to come into production in the latter half of 2019, along with the 8 Series coupe and convertible models.
The base model will come with a turbocharged 3-liter inline six-cylinder engine, with the range-topping M8 to house a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12.
BMW hasn't yet announced horsepower figures, but there is no doubt they will be very high.
