Jennifer Garner returning to TV to lead Lena Dunham's US remake of Julia Davis' dark comedy Camping.
Jennifer Garner has a new gig in the works.
The 45-year-old actress will lead the cast of Camping, a half-hour HBO sitcom written by Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner of Girls fame, Deadline reported.
Camping is a remake of a 2016 UK show by the same name written and directed by Nighty Night's Julia Davis, who also acted in it.
The British version ran a single season of six episodes on Sky Atlantic.
HBO commissioned eight episodes of the US version, which stars Jennifer as a domineering perfectionist who plans a camping trip for her husband's 45th birthday.
However, Jennifer's character Kathryn finds herself joined by her sister, her former best buddy and another holidaymaker - with disastrous results.
