Emma Watson has donated £1 million to a new organization which helps those facing sexual harassment.

The 27-year-old British actress has joined almost 200 female stars, including Rebel Wilson and Emilia Clarke, in writing an open letter in support of the Time's Up initiative as a response to the Hollywood sexual misconduct scandal.

The letter published in The Observer newspaper details the movement to be bigger than just a change in the industry alone, and that it’s intersectional, with conversations across race, class, community, ability and work environment.

Emma believes we seem to have woken up in a world ripe for change in 2018, and many stars will be donning black at the EE-sponsored awards ceremony held at London's Royal Albert Hall in respect of the Time’s Up initiative.
