E-commerce giants Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon go to war this week as they try to outdo one another with their festive offers and discounts.

India’s largest e-commerce firm Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale opens for five days starting today and going on until 17 October. The company will offer discounts on different categories on different days. The sale is limited to Flipkart's smartphone app.
