In a unique marriage ceremony, 131 couples tied the knot including 46 Muslim couples along with Hindus in mass marriage organised under ‘Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana’ in a village in Thakurdwara. Couples also received a present of Rs 20,000 each from the state government on this occasion. “We are very happy with the initiative taken by the government”, said one of the bridegrooms.
