A road cave-in left eight dead and three missing in Foshan city in southern China's Guangdong province on February 7.
The cave-in, which took place at a subway construction site, is as large as two basketball courts, covering eight lanes in both directions. Sewer pipes and street lamps were swallowed up in the collapse.
Nine people were rescued and hospitalised. The rescue operation is ongoing, and the case is under investigation.
