SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA — A woman says her new hair dryer turned into a blowtorch after it shot out flames when she turned it on.

Erika Shoolbred posted video of the mini flamethrower to Facebook on Monday, mentioning she bought the hair dryer over Amazon.

She wrote, "talk about a bad hair day! My new hair dryer (more like hair frier) from OraCorp on Amazon.com became a blow torch on its first use this morning."

When she attempted to turn it off, the flame just got bigger.
The too hot to handle dryer burned her hand when she went to pull the cord out, which gave her a nice little shock as a bonus.

And it made the bathroom smell Amazon amazing.
Erika has gotten a refund from Amazon, which has since pulled the OraCorp hair dryer off its website.
